Welcome to The Curious Rabbit Flower Shop. My name is Catherine, I am the owner of this studio florist located in Balmain in Sydney's Inner West. I love to create beautiful floral arrangements for your home and flowers and gifts for your family and friends. Flowers are the perfect way to say happy birthday, happy anniversary, thank you, get well soon, thinking of you, I love you. My style is whimsical, vintage and cottage garden. Flowers are chosen by myself with love and consideration for freshness, colour, fragrance and sustainability. Each day I source fresh seasonal flowers from the Sydney Flower Market to create beautiful and unique floral arrangements. Fresh flowers, gifts and hampers are available for delivery within the Inner West, Hunters Hill and Lane Cove suburbs of Sydney. SUSTAINABLE FLORISTRY
As a florist, I am passionate about minimising my impact on the environment.
I choose to buy locally grown or Australian flowers whenever possible and to reduce waste I only purchase enough flowers to fulfil daily orders.
I am conscious of sourcing packaging that is made from recycled and sustainable materials and avoid the use of cellophane and floral foam.
I reuse products when I can and recycle soft plastics and paper in recycling bins and green waste in a green waste bin. I use biodegradable products and wet wrap flowers using biodegradable bags.
